Meet Scout

Scout was born from a desire to connect with Online Sales Professionals who are serious about running a great program.

It was important that we have an accessible platform where conversation, connection, and professional improvement can be developed and encouraged. 

And when I couldn't find that, I started Scout.

It began as the industry’s first Substack for the Online Sales Counselor – an accessible platform for OSCs to obtain weekly insight into their role and commit to their own professional excellence. The more connection with OSCs and builders across the country the more it's evident: there is a deep need for a holistic and accessible approach to developing and supporting this role.

Our services include a fractional approach to solving that problem, including a la carte trainings, technical implementations, and program oversight and management.

Keeping an OSC for the long haul is the goal. That's why we believe in creating a sustainable workspace for them to thrive in. 

It's not enough to see someone have a great week, we need to make every day repeatable for the long term. This removes seasonality and keeps your OSC happy and fulfilled.

We've designed all of our services and products with a tiered approach: from our entry-level Substack subscription to one-on-one Day Camps and Residencies.

Meet Diana, Your Scout

Diana Wallace

Hi, I’m Diana. I’ve been an OSC in the home-building industry since 2016, claiming two gold awards for OSC of the Year as a solo OSC and on a team of two – taking the gold in the wake of the changes 2020 brought our industry. My time in the OSC seat and leading the role has made me a technical expert on the design of the CRM and the tools used daily by the OSC and sales team.

I have the unique perspective of working the digital sales floor with my teams while also being able to inform sales leadership of the big picture of their sales funnel. The role of the OSC is evolving every day and being able to understand and utilize the technology needed to influence the builders’ bottom line is something that takes constant adjustment.

My goal is to create a seamless sales process for every lead from point of contact to close and teach our industry that the Online Sales Concierge is the role best designed to do that.
